Using E-cigarettes (known as ‘vaping’) means a vapourised liquid is inhaled, however, it can damage your teeth:

 –  The liquid in E-cigarettes contains glycerin, propylene glycol, water, flavourings, and nicotine.

–  Propylene glycol is the main culprit, as when it is broken down, the acidic byproducts weaken your tooth enamel and cause a dry mouth, leading to cavities and gum disease.

–  Your dentist can advise on how to protect your teeth and gums.
