It is no secret that we will begin to encounter oral health issues as we age. However, some are more serious than others. What are three common situations which adults over 55 tend to face?

–   The vast majority will suffer from some form of gum disease.

–   Tooth decay is also a concern to take seriously.

–   Outdated dental work such as dentures and bridges may need replacement.

“According to the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), 25 percent of adults between the ages of 65 and 74 have severe gum disease.”
